Abstract
This work provides a unique perspective of the iconic Australian Christmas Beetle (Anoplognathus), a specimen from the Australian Museum, Sydney, it examines issues of visualisation, scale, replication and simulation of the natural world, and explores scientific interpretations of knowledge.
