    Abstract

Kai Spiekermann shows how groups of people cooperating purely for mutual advantage could solve social dilemmas by 'assortation', deftly including and excluding people from the group of people who are cooperating among themselves. This article explores the normative implications of that result, casting further doubt on normative models treating justice as a 'club good'.
