    Abstract

    A silicon waveguide resonator filter built with two high-index-contrast Bragg gratings is proposed to selectively reflect and thus remove specific wavelengths, like a fiber Bragg grating, in standard silicon waveguides and its feasibility is experimentally demonstrated.
