Abstract

This chapter delves further into the twin topics of intangible cultural heritage (ICH) with its entwined associative values and that of authenticity. The reasoning behind the chapter, therefore, is that it has become increasingly clear that there is a synergy between the intangibility of associative values—intangible cultural heritage (ICH)—and authenticity in the cultural landscape construct.
