Abstract
This is a submission by academics (one of whom, Curran, is a current solicitor) in Victoria and all of whom have significant experience and expertise in research, and in teaching legal professional ethics both at undergraduate and graduate level. We also variously engage in the professional development of junior, mid-tier and senior members of the legal profession and judiciary, or the design of professional standards and regulation.
