Abstract
An interview with the Mexican author Naief Yehya which looks at his arrival in the United States, his experience and reflections on this literary space and the challenges of writers in Spanish in this space. This interview also covers many varied topics such as the transformative influence of minority cultures in the United States, the schizophrenic relationship of many writers of his generation with the cultural giant of the North, his reflections on the role of the author in a collective and personal sense, as well as his most recent narrative and non-fiction projects.
