    Abstract

    Candi Borobudur, built around 800AD and the largest Buddhist monument in Indonesia is located in Central Java some 40 kilometres from Yogyakarta. Regarded as one of the Wonders of the World this magnificent stepped pyramid style of building consists of nine terraces.
