Abstract
Dispersion managed solitons are chirped, and chirp varies over a cell. We find that the chirp of the dark soliton in dispersion-managed systems is of Gaussian profile and weaker in magnitude than the bright soliton which has parabolic profile. We also derive an analytical expression for the dark soliton jitter in dispersion-managed systems, showing weaker dependence on chirp than the bright counterpart.
