    Abstract

This paper describes the development of a carbon dioxide (CO2) sensing rotorcraft unmanned aerial vehicle (RUAV) and the experiences gained throughout its development as well as during its first deployment in a CO2 trial. The aim of the flying measurement platform is to enable the creation of detailed gas distribution maps of larger areas in a relatively short timeframe for reasonable costs.
