Digitally Enhanced Homodyne Dispersion Spectrometer

Abstract

We present a fiber dispersion spectrometer using a digitally enhanced homodyne phase readout that minimizes optical complexity. We demonstrate a phase sensitivity of 10 microradian, yielding a fractional absorption sensitivity for the spectrometer of 1\mathrm{x} 10^{-4}.
