Abstract

Diploicia canescens (Dicks.) A. Massai, subsp. australasica Elix & Lumbsch is reported for the first time from Korea. It was found on lava rock along the coast of Cheju (Jeju) Island. This taxon was previously known from Australia and New Zealand, so its distribution now extends to Eastern Asia.
