    Abstract

The relaxation and dynamics of Dirac monopoles and dipoles in trapped ferromagnetic spinor BECs were examined for realistic parameters of 87Rb. Due to the weak ferromagnetic energy of the 87Rb atom, it was found that any dynamically stable dipole configuration would also include regions of significantly reduced spin magnitude.
