Down the Hard Road: Young People and Their Experiences of Homelessness as Children

    Abstract

    Findings from studies into the residual affects of homelessness on children that extend into their youth and beyond are reported. Research shows that people who experience homelessness as a child with their family are more likely to experience homelessness as adults and when they have their own children.
