    Abstract

This paper discusses the intraspecific variation and the patchiness of Eucalyptus forest for folivorous marsupials in Australia. The chemical basis of feeding inhibition and regulation of formylated phloroglucinol compounds (FPCs) intake of marsupials is described. The physiological effects of foliar terpenes and FPCs into behaviour of marsupials are also presented.
