Abstract

The purpose of this document is to provide a review of the latest information on the effects of fire on koalas and their habitat and to identify knowledge gaps in currently available peerreviewed literature.

The document aims to provide contemporary information on how fire affects habitat values for koalas at different time scales, how fire regime, size and severity affect koalas, and the implications for post-fire management.
