Abstract
The Church is no longer a popular place among young people in Australia. The growth rate of each demonization, according to the data of the National Church Life Survey (NCLS: 2012), shows that the local communities are aging in the last thirty years. However, the Hillsong Church in the national movement of the Australian Christian Churches (ACC) are rapidly growing with the increasing number of young adults. Even the people who previously struggled with drug, drinking, and sex, are also challenged by the impact of the local church. Then, how do they different compared with other organizations? What is their strategy for young generations? This paper explores the conceptual character of the modern church through social volunteering services of Teen Challenge, Mercy Ministry, Street Teams, I-Heart program, and Campus Ministry. The long-term program of leadership and contemporary worship music are argued as the secret sources of church growth in the digital era
