Abstract

We demonstrated significant (over 2.102) enhancement of the ÄŒerenkov second-harmonic generation in periodically poled nonlinear crystal. We show that this effect is caused by the simultaneous fulfillment of the ÄŒerenkov and Raman-Nath emission conditions.
