Abstract

The text presents the results of the fauna remains of the site Forat de la Conqueta. The set is composed by the remains of domestic animals and abundant microfauna. The species that have been determined include Canis familiaris, Sus domesticus, Bos taurus, Equus asinus and ovicaprids. At the same time it has been recognized some wild species used as a support to make tools. Among taxa it has been identified Vulpes vulpes, scropha Sus, Cervus elaphus and Oryctolagus cunniculus. The study of these remains provides information on the activities carried out by groups that used Forat de la Conqueta during recent prehistory.
