Abstract

With the availability of the full human genome sequence, the genome sequences of other species, and rapid progress in the development of technologies with which to analyze and apply genetic insights and discoveries, a dominant future for genetic intervention and individual gene profiling in medicine is certain. This book has examined some exciting scientific developments and insights that will contribute to the gene profiling of patients, and the application of genetic knowledge to new drug.
