    Abstract

    The concept of ethnocentrism was originally used by sociologists and anthropologists, but over time other disciplines have adopted and used it widely.Nevertheless, despite the wide usage (or perhaps because of it), ethnocentrism has been a slippery concept, with varied, loose, and inconsistent usages.
