Abstract
We present a way to construct and solve the small-polaron model with general open boundary conditions. The Bethe ansatz equations and the energy spectrum are obtained. It is found that the Grassmann numbers play a crucial role in the construction of the Hamiltonian as well as the reflection equations for the model. The way presented is applicable for some other fermion models.
