Abstract

Necessary and sufficient conditions are derived for the existence of H controllers for a class of linear, time-invariant generalized plants which is excluded by the assumptions generally made in the solution of H problems. The assumptions relaxed in this work concern the comparative dimensions of the plant's input and output spaces.
