Abstract

The phase-space resonances found in the dynamics of the experimental realization of the quantum driven pendulum and its classical analog with cold atoms were studied. Experimental findings show how such resonances can be manipulated and momentum controlled. Methods for efficient momentum phase-space state preparation using the quantum chaotic phase space of the QDP were also highlighted.
