Abstract

Summary: The reactions of [Os(CO)(CA)(PPh₃)₃] (A = O, S) with 4,7,10-trithiatrideca-2,11-diyne provide cyclopentadienone and cydopentadienethione complexes, the latter affording a novel polythioether macrotricyclic ligand on subsequent treatment with dimethylacetylene- dicarboxylate.
