Abstract

Proceedings of a seminar marking the 25th anniversary of the Equal Pay Act 1972. The seminar covers all three postwar equal pay campaigns - in the public sector in the 1940s and 1950s; in the private sector 1960-1972 and the pay equity campaign 1984-1990. Speakers included Mary Boyd, Margaret Long, Barry Tucker, Cath Kelly, Rona Bailey, Margot Rodden, Anne Else, Margaret Shields, Peg Hutchinson, Miriam Dell, Elizabeth Orr, Martha Coleman, Sonja Davies, Therese O'Connell and Prue Hyman
