    Abstract

The fluctuation theorem is discussed to investigate the thermostated dissipative systems. It forms an analytical expression to analyse the ratio of probabilities observed by the finite system time-averaged entropy generation. The fluctuation theorem is established to be independent of the application of the dissipative fields and is derived for Hamiltonian systems. Fluctuation theorem applicable to the free relaxation of isolated Hamiltonian systems towards equilibrium is also derived.
