Abstract
Sergey Gredeskul was an outstanding theoretical physicist who visited us in Australia many times, and he published many papers with the members of our Nonlinear Physics Center in Canberra and many other colleagues. This short article brings some memories about our collaborative work, and also it reports on the recent developments with chiral metasurfaces, the topic that Sergey and I planned to work on together a long time ago.
