    Abstract

Over the past 30 years Australia and New Zealand have constructed a Trans-Tasman Single Economic Market (TTSEM) that, like the Single European Market (SEM), has substantially removed administrative barriers to the free movement of goods, services, capital and people. European integration has had both direct and indirect effects on trans-Tasman developments.
