Abstract
Futile Futures, hosted at Civic Art Bureau, was a curatorial intervention into the NSFA Futile Futures Conference. Futile Futures offered a counterpoint to the notion of a fantastic future for art, aesthetics and ideas by exploring the crappy, absurd and abject dimensions of intelligent machines and tech hype.
