    Abstract

    This short story is a personal account of the recruitment of Terran migrants after the Second Water War from an officer of the Pool Genético Corporation. He recounts the first day of training of migrant agent interns selected from the first promotion of graduates of the Interplanetary Administration School of the Walden III branch of the Open Space University. The short story makes use of speculations about space farms, and space colonisation.
