    Abstract

    Digital transformation programs continued to be enacted across the world's public sector's, responding to shifting capabilities and new stakeholder demands. These changes are not merely digitising services for greater speed and efficiency but the reconfiguration of complex socio-technical systems. Using an ecosystem lens, this case study of digital transformation in the New Zealand public sector examines the role of ecosystem governance mechanisms in enabling sociotechnical (re) alignment for digital transformation.
