Abstract
Solo exhibition at reputable Melbourne commercial gallery, Niagara Galleries, comprising 5 years creative-led practice associated with creative doctoral research based on Indigenous Performative Autoethnography methodologies. Project funded through 2 part residency at Canberra Glassworks (2017, 2019), and Arts ACT grant ($50,000). Mixed media installation of lead crystal & glass cast stone axes & spear tips, mounted on steel bases, timer-lit from within; large digital prints of satellite images documenting journeys undertaken on the artist's patrilineal country since 2014, where the source customary objects, cast in glass & lead crystal, originated.
