III-V compound semiconductor nanowires for optoelectronic applications

    Abstract

    We review various III-V compound semiconductor nanowires grown by metalorganic chemical vapor deposition, mainly focusing on their phase control, optical and structural properties and prototype optically pumped single nanowire lasers.
