    Abstract

We present preliminary results of the analysis of the first 500 square degrees of the Southern Edgeworth-Kuiper belt Survey, a large sky survey which ran from January 2000 to January 2003 and comprises 2900° in total. Early tests predict that we should discover ∼10 bright TNOs in our data, doubling the current known population.
