Abstract

As a Fijian and an Australian, we have been working since 2021 on a politically sensitive research project investigating aspects of the parliament of Fiji related to gender equality, undertaking some parts of this project together and some separately. In this In Brief, we explore our divergent positionalities, and the strength each has brought to different aspects of this political research.
