    Research output: Book/ReportBookpeer-review

    Abstract

A study of the life and art of Melbourne artist Jon Cattapan, this books considers artistic responses to urbanism, popular music, digital technologies and globalism. Based on extensive interviews with the artist and access to his personal archives, the book traces Cattapan's development of an art of social commentary drawing on Agamben's model of active citizenship and Baumann's model of liquid modernity.
