    Abstract

This chapter proposes a Charter of Global Ethics, written entirely in a form of language developed by the author and her colleague Cliff Goddard. This form of language, based on the shared core of all languages, can be described as Basic Human. The chapter discusses great advantages of freeing international discourse about global ethics from Anglo-centric orientations hidden in untranslatable Anglo English words in which international discussions of global ethics are usually framed. The chapter proposes 25 ethical norms formulated exclusively in cross-translatable words (semantic primes and semantic molecules), that is, in words and phrases of Basic Human.
