Abstract
Larvae of Erina gilesi (M.R. Williams & Bollam) collected from Porongurup and Albany, WAindicate that the immature stages are far more variable than previously supposed. The variationnecessitates a re-evaluation of the diagnostic characters by which the final instar larva of E. gilesidiffers from related species, particularly Erina hyacinthina (Semper).
