    Abstract

    This work draws upon al collection of archaeological material excavated from the Hibernian hotel, an 18th century pub and staging post in rural NSW. The artefacts were photographed and images manipulated to explore the theme of the 'vessel', common to archaoeological sites worldwide. Using the Inkjet Research Facility,a series of images were printed on beer coasters to reflect the site and the 'grid' of archaeological survey.
