Abstract
Since 2001, the CIRAP team has been leading an archaeological and anthropological research program on Temoe atoll that aims at documenting ancient religious and funerary practices of the Gambier inhabitants. The last two field seasons in 210 and 2013 consisted in additional surveys and surface recording, and the excavations of burials. We now start to better understand the role of Temoe within the region.
