Abstract
Hand printed Artist book, Limited Edition of 8 signed and numbered, with two artists proofs. Carbon Piezography Pigment Inkjet prints on cotton rag. Case bound, hand section sewn. 90 pages In November 2014, I was approached by Photoaccess to create an interpretive photographic artwork based on the contents of the Lin Richardson photographic archive. Arthur Lincoln Richardson (referred to as Lin) came to Canberra with his wife Elizabeth in the early 1960s.Lin Richardson was a dedicated photographer and the archive comprises a lifetime of photographs documenting his daily life and travels between 1960- 2003. As such, the archive encompasses not only a historical record of Canberra and its environs, but his experiences both here and abroad over a large chunk of twentieth century history.
