Abstract

This chapter endeavours to equip public health practitioners and others with a critical understanding of a range of emerging conceptual frameworks with which they are likely to come into contact while working toward sustainability and health. The chapter will facilitate critical reflection on the many complementary and yet different theoretical perspectives related to sustainability and health. The improved understanding of different perspectives gained should lead to sustainability and health practitioners improving their ability to work in collaboration with stakeholders from wide-ranging backgrounds.
