    Abstract

Wo study the properties of nonlinear waves localized at an interlace between two different optical lattices in nonlinear quadratic media, in particular focusing on the impact of phase mismatch on the existence. stability. and threshold power requirements for the generation of interface localized modes. We also demonstrate the efficient control and manipulation of surface solitons by tuning the lattice and waveguide parameters.
