Abstract
Measurements of poloidal rotation velocity were presented using cross-correlation spectroscopy in the H-1 heliac. The time-delay analysis produced a plausible estimate of the poloidal drift velocity. A higher digitization rate was required to improve the resolution of the method. This technique was also used to derive the poloidal rotation velocities in the electron cyclotron resonance.
