Measuring the Effects of Corporate Social Responsibility

    Abstract

    As business organizations increasingly invest in corporate social responsibility (CSR), it becomes critical to accurately examine the effects of these endeavors. In particular, business leaders should be able to rely on a coherent set of metrics to assess and prioritize the goals of different stakeholdersthe ultimate beneficiaries of CSR programsand to regularly evaluate progress made by the company in pursuing those goals. This report discusses a model for measuring the efficient and effective use of corporate resources allocated to CSR activities.
