    Abstract

The theoretical calculations and experimental data of photo double ionization (PDI) of helium at 530 eV photon energy was presented. Asymmetric energy sharing between the photoelectrons and an angular asymmetry parameter β ≅ 2 and β ≅ 0 for the fast and slow electrons was found. The electron angular distributions showed an inelastic electron-electron scattering at an electron energy of 30 eV and a dominance of the shakeoff for 2eV electrons. The data was found to be in aggrement with convergent close-coupling calculations.
