    Abstract

Percolation behavior observed in w/o microemulsions reflects dramatic changes in microstructure with changes in component volume fractions. Percolation phenomena in several ternary systems, formed from DDAB, AOT, and some fluorinated surfactants are reviewed. It is shown how microstructural changes in L2 regions, deduced from conductivity, NMR relaxation and selfdiffusion, are related to percolation transitions.
