    Abstract

The 3D intervention had no effect on quality of life and led many to openly question the value of patient-centred care.1 Yet, the true role of patient-centredness remains unclear from the 3D intervention. No definition of patient-centred care or use of seminal works2 in this area were provided. The intervention is described vaguely with no reference to key care facets, including therapeutic partnerships, understanding the patient as a person, and power sharing
