Abstract

The reaction of [TaCl₄(η-C₅Me₅)] with Na[H₂B(mt)₂] provides the tantalum(IV) complex [TaCl ₂(η-C₅Me₅){H₂B(mt) ₂}], the crystal structure of which reveals an essentially linear Ta-H-B interaction.
