New species of Parmotrema containing protocetraric or stictic acids from the coast of São Paulo state, southeastern Brazil

    Abstract

    During a survey of Parmeliaceae species in natural ecosystems and urbanized coastal areas of southeastern Brazil, three new Parmotrema species were discovered: P. eliasaroanum, containing stictic acid, and P. graniticum and P. milanezii, containing protocetraric acid.
